 | Treo 700p will not sync with Outlook 2002 Hi, everyone. I hate for my first post to be a "Please help me" post, but I am running out of time, patience and places to go for help on this one. I have had a Treo 700p for about 6 months now. It syncs perfectly with my old computer. Outlook and everything. On my new computer (Toshiba laptop), it will sync with Palm Desktop, but not Outlook. Here is a sample of the Hotsync log: OLERR:15-0002 OLERR:06-0001 Outlook Contacts OLERR:0B-0004 Unable to initialize Outlook. To fix this problem, in Outlook open the Help menu and choose Detect and Repair. OLERR:0C-000B (0x0) OLERR:0C-0002 (0x0) OLERR:0C-000F (0x80040601) OLERR:0D-0003 OLERR:0D-0001 - Not Synchronized Outlook Contacts synchronization failed Obviously, I have running the Outlook PIM conduit and have run Detect and Repair - no luck. I have hard reset the Treo - no luck. Clean (includes clearing any references in the system registry) uninstall/reinstall of Microsoft Office/Outlook - no luck. Clean (includes clearing any references in the system registry) uninstall/reinstall of Palm Desktop multiple times both from CD and website - no luck. Downloaded and installed the Microsoft Outlook conduit repair from Palm - no luck. Deleted all the users and started over - no luck. I know there is probably more - I have spent over 40 hours working on this. Sprint tech support, Palm tech support and Toshiba tech support have all gotten to the end of thier algorithms and do not know what to tell me. What gets me is that it will sync with Palm Desktop on my new PC, so they are communicating just fine. It syncs with Outlook on my old PC, so it is not the phone, it is something in the settings of the new computer, which seems to be set up exactly the same on both computers. I am at my wits end. Please help me! |

| BTW - I am about to go to work, so I will not be replying till this evening. Not to be rude, but I need to make a living. Also, is there any aftermarket sync software that anyone recommends? |

| If that has an Outlook plugin try disabling it and see if that helps.

| A small program written to directly integrate with Outlook. Check under your mail scanning section of your Anti-virus program.

| Fixed Since the messages were Outlook error messages, I figured I might just upgrade my old Office XP (2002) to 2007 while my wife can get it cheap through school (grad student). Installed it and then the Palm Outlook 2007 patch and it all sync'd the first time. |

| Glad to hear it COBAUM! Do you find 2007 slow at all? I've got it here and Outlook runs a like a dog for me whether add-ins are on or off... Really annoying. ~ Steph
