Mail doesnt seem to sync..? - Treo Forum

I am new to the smart phone world, have a 755P and am using the included Hotsync.
It sync's up my contacts, task lists, calender, etc. But it seems like my e-mail isnt sync'n up like I thought it should.
when I go to e-mail on my phone, it still has to go retrieve the mail off the server, even right after a sync. For some reason I would think there could be a way that it would get those from outlook in a sync, and mark which ones I have read and such.
Is this possible?

It may have to do with the VersaMail conduit settings/setups. Depending on if the VersaMail accounts on your 755p are set up for POP3 or your company's Exchange Server, take a look at these links at Palm.com - they may offer some insight:

Ok, so that helped, it is actually loading the e-mails from my computer to my phone, but for some reason it still shows e-mail I have read as unread. Like if I read it on the computer, sync the devices, then look at my mail on the phone, it still shows unread.
Is there a setting or something I am missing?

Nope, thats just the way Versamail is. Any new message is marked as unread.
