HotSync locks - Treo Forum

Hi
Hope someone can help with this
I installed phone technician and hotsync went on forever with pc screen showing "installing applications" while Treo 650 showed "synchronising memos".
After about 10 mins of this I tried to cancel hotsync, both screens responded but nothing happened. Has to perform soft reset on Treo and ctr+alt+del on pc shut down hotsync, quick intall and palm desktop.
Phone tech seems to have installed on Treo and appears to work however the app still show in quick install and tries to reinstall every time I try to sync with pc resulting in lockup.
Tried deleting PT from Treo and removing it from quick install but hotsync locks up every time now resulting in reset etc.
Checked data in Calender and Excel and data is transferred ok but why the lock up each time?
Running Win XP pro.

Check the developer website to make sure none of your current applications are for some reason incompatable, and then try reinstalling your Hotsync software. Let us know how it turns out.
