![]() | Question about Backup Folder on Windows Hi Everyone: Great forum -- glad I found it. I just upgraded to the Treo680 and have already endured one hard reset. Am now facing another to cure a "net.lib missing" problem. I know that I can change synch to "computer overwrites handheld" to restore the data that Outlook holds, but what about other files like EM mailboxes? Do these all get backed up to Windows during hot synch. I wasn't even aware of this folder until I did my first Treo680 hotsynch (and inadvertently corrupted the 680 with something from my previous Treo600). Would also appreciate any links that give more info on hot synch as it relates to non-Outlook files (pics, docs, e-m mailboxes, quicken data). Thanks |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | All these files are backed up on your pc, but only your PIM's and email (if you have it set that way) back up in outlook.

![]() | So all can be recovered after hard reset Forgot - thanks My Treo680 lost power during e-m download today, and since then has had issues. Cannot access web, says "Error: GPRS connection not available. Check setting in Network Preferences." If try to get mail in VersaMail, get error "Unable to find Net.lib". If go to Preferences / Network, get error "The network library is not available." Chatted with Cingular support today and they recommend hard reset. If all of the non-PIM files are backed up on Windows, after a hard reset, how do I get those backup copies to migrate back to the Treo? Eric |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Just resync with the same user id. All your info should be stored in a backup folder assigned to that user id, and will happily jump back onto your treo. If your hotsync settings are still set to outlook, so should all your PIM and email!

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Just trying to clarify, to sync you either have to use a different cable or hard reset your device?
