Exclamation downgrade from 680 to 650

my 680 was stolen. can I sync my palm desktop to the 650 or do i have to install 650 software ? what happens to the data on the desktop when I install older software?

welcome to treonauts hilarypv. You should in genneral use the palm desktop software that comes with your device. Using the 680 desktop software if its not the same version as the 650 could cause issues in hot synching your data. Or it might not be a problem at all. I never had the 680 I went from the 650 to the 750.

The newer versions of Palm Desktop should be compatible with older devices so I wouldn't expect you to have any problems
