![]() | Recording Your Thoughts This is something I have been doing for some time, but kept forgetting to post. I am sure most have thought of this, but just in case. Often times when reading MyBible a verse/s will bring thoughts to mind for an article, sermon, class material or just something I want to share with someone. Of course the thoughts would be such that I knew I would never forget it. Of course when I tried to remember later... I've never been good at keeping a hand written journal. So I started using Memos which helped but still a bit of a pain as I'd have to get out of MyBible open a Memo type my thoughts then go back to my reading. Then a couple verses more and another or additional thought would come to mind and I'd have to do it over again. Finally, I set Memos up as a favorite (M) and MyBible I set to start with the side button and enabled Keylaucher in Butler. Now I can quickly switch back and forth. This is really helpful if I have thoughts for a sermon and want to expand on it. I tend create a different memo for each seperate thought/idea. This provides me with a several different ideas to use later. If I ever go brain dead on coming up with a sermon I go to those memos. I could of course do the same thing using Documents but Memos are smaller files and I may or may not use each thought. When I choose one to work on I just copy and paste into Word.

![]() | My Bible 5.0? I just received an email from Laridian and they are offering the upgrade to MyBible 5.0 PalmOS for $7. It is supposed to sync with PocketBible for Windows (sorry GravelBay). If you upgrade to MyBible 5.0 you can get PocketBible for 25% off. Here is a list from their website of what's new in 5.0:
----------Has anyone had a chance to upgrade to 5.0 (I just recently upgraded to 4.0 and love it) if so is it worth it (considering I currently went part time and looking for work )Anyone have experience with PocketBible? If so what do you think of it? I use MyBible a 'lot.'

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I have used my bible and pocket bible both since the mid 90's with pocket pcs and palm pda's and then the treo 600 and 650 and now back in pocket bible with my 750. I really like the new version of pocket bible you can have a split screen for different bibles. I use the NIV and NIV Study Bible. It's pretty cool! |

![]() | Thanks Jeff. The split screens was added in 4.0 and it is awesome. Does the Treo MW version of MyBible sync w/ PocketBible and if so how is that? I have many notes that I would like to add to MyBible, but they are in MSWord and I really don't want, even if I had the time, to retype every thing. But I was thinking w/ the sync capability I could probably cut & paste into PocketBible and then sync over to MyBible.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | the mybible is strictly a palm os or was I think it still is. I had a bunch of notes in my 650 in the NIV Study Bible. The guy I sold it to was a boy scout buddy I left the program and my notes on the device for him to use or not. |

![]() | Welcome to Treonauts minking. Yes, I just downloaded Olive Tree's Bible Reader as Laridian's MyBible did not offer the translation I wanted to read through this year. This is a fantastic group. In fact, the best group I have belonged too.
