 | Google's 1-800-GOOG411 Lookup  The free Google Lookup service -GOOG411-has probably been posted on the Treonaut forum before, but I didn't see it. Anyway its a good tip for a Treonaut roadwarrior wanting to be able to lookup a business by just using your Treo or Centro. I've included some test audio, a copy of a returned text message and a bit more information on my blog ... and just for fun tried looking up the number for the Treonaut's Store. (don't think its correct???) Here's the MP3 audio recorded with CallRec and my Treo 700p. |

 | I found out about this in another forum. I think its a great service, and it is my backup to TryDA. If I can't find something using TryDA then I go to Goog411. I think On Demand has a 411 service, but I heard a rumor that it has been removed from the standard freeware that comes with the Palm models and is now a premium pay service. Obviously, TryDA and Goog411 are free, so they are my first choice. Thanks for the post, though, as I found out a couple of things I wasn't aware of, in terms of options. Stu |

| I find myself using it for Skype on the computer too ... nice to be able to make calls without using up my precious pennies.  (yes call me frugal!) |

| Thank you. I also use 1.800.FREE.411 (373.3411) They have advertisements but it works nonetheless. Optimus Centro out.
