Palm Desktop or Outlook?

I've always been an outlook user and though I've had a number of palm devices, I've never used palm desktop. I'm upgrading from my T|X to a Treo 680, so I'm taking another look at both outlook and palm desktop.

What do you use? Pros, cons, and why? Looking for feedback - thanks!

Lisa

Personaly I use the Palm Desktop. I use the catagories to help organize everything (jobs, family, ect) and while I know Outlook can do this too, I just prefer the way the Palm Desktop this.

.........And I prefer outlook. I use it as my e-mail program for different e-mails. So while I look at my e-mail, I also get a look at my schedule, tasks, notes etc.

Basically, it is what you are most comfortable with.

Palm's use of categories is much more user friendly than outlook.

How do you separate the two on Outlook?

I think that Palm is a much more superior and user-friendly desktop. (Back when I used to use it on my PalmOS devices)

You can hide and show notes and information, decide what specific names, info. etc. you wish to sync. Plus, if I remember correctly it had better color-coding and easier filtering to separate contacts in different categories.

Instead using functions beyond email an basic calendar on Outlook tend to frustrate and limit me.
