  | Others' Freeware Recommendations and Sites I've compiled a list of sites that have freeware recommendations and sites that offer freeware that I thought may be helpful to some of you. Please be advised that some of these programs were written for older Palm devices and may not work on your device. Furthermore, some of the recommendations at other sites, I wouldn't personally recommend. Nevertheless, life is about choices, so here you go: Freeware Recommendations: PalmInfoCenter Leslie Franke PalmLoyal TimesToCome PalmStop Freeware Sites (besides Treonauts): FreewarePalm.com BestPalmSoftware PalmFreeware.mobi Freeware-Palm There are many other sites, but these are the best ones. A couple words of caution: 1) Backup your device before trying software from these sites as they may cause your device to crash. 2) Some of the links for freeware are to the now defunct Palmgear store. If you find something you might be interested in and run into this, perform a google search and generally if you hunt around you can find it somewhere else. 3) A couple of these sites are maintained by people who don't understand english very well, so even after reading a description of the product you may wind up scratching your head.
