Free 411 and other mobile info services - Treo Forum

I am curious to find out what free information service companies are worth trying out? Looking up phone digits while on the road shouldn't kill my expense budget. What does anyone think or know about Tryda Directory Assistant? Good experience? Who else "gets it"? Any other thoughts overall on providers of free 411? Also, other than phone numbers, what other cool free mobile info is out there, or should be available?

I always simply dial 1-800-FREE-411 ... it is automated, but if the computer doesn't understand you right off you get a person. You usually have to listen to a 10 second ad too, but its free and it gets the job done.

Another good tool is sending a text message to google (46645)

I primarily use TryDA. Its an excellent app. I also use Google 411 (1-800-466-4411), a little different than the one Irish gave.

Cool. Sounds worth installing. I've sampled Live Search on a WM phone and it seems to have a few other features in addition to 411. There are so many different apps out there...some useful, others that are interesting, but just take up space on my phone. What would the ultimate mobile information service offer?

Didn't know you had a WM phone. TryDA is available for Palm OS phones, but I don't think its available for WM.
