The web app seems to work fine in OperaMini too.

Well, after experimenting with each of the methods again, here are the results:

If you use the website GasBuddyToGo.com that now seems to be working for putting in your zip code and getting back five lowest gas stations in your area.

Texting/emailing zip or City has consistently not worked.

Going to the main site (GasBuddy.com), will enable you with some trial and error to view the five highest and five lowest and allow you to view the map with some functionality.

Of course, the best method is to use your computer and explore more fully whether its worth driving a couple miles to a cheaper gas station. Enjoy!

BTW there is also www.gaspricewatch.com and http://gasprices.mapquest.com for your computer. I think the mobile version of mapquest is not free and the mobile version for www.gaspricewatch.com interfaces with the “GetMobio Cheap Gas widget” which runs on Windows mobile and Blackberry/RIM but not on Palm OS at the moment (Mobio Statement: “Currently the Palm operating system is transitioning to Linux. We are watching the situation closely and expect to release a version of GetMobio that is compatible with Palm OS as soon as this transition is complete. Right now, the timing for this is a bit uncertain.”)

Quite a bit more reasonable than here in WI. 3.69 just about everywhere.

Thanks for the update. I just sent another email after reading your post and we'll see what happens.

As for gas prices, they are better than here as well. Prices range from 3.48 to 3.68 here...with those two stations being only a few blocks from one another!

I sent another one as well earlier this afternoon. Still no dice. I've decided what I'll do is send an email to Eins, have him email GasBuddy.com, and then email me back the prices. LOL

No, like I said earlier, the GasBuddyToGo.com site works well with telling me the bottom five (for prices).

It worked, it worked!!!!

I just received an email from gasbuddy regarding my local prices! Took 8 minutes, so the lesson is don't wait til you're nearly on E to send gasbuddy an email.

Thank goodness for Blazer!
