Program to note calls on calendar

Good morning all,

I'm looking for a program that will note calls with my calendar. For instance, if I have an incoming call, I would like for it to note, on my calendar, that an incoming call was made at the specific time.

What I really would like is a program that would ask me if I want to put the call on my calendar, what number the call came from, and the duration of the call. Does anyone know of a program that exists for Treo 700p?

welcome to treonauts stilwjm. We are glad you are here. I am not that familar with palm os anymore after getting the 750. I think there was a posting somewhere I read in the last few days for a winmob program for that so I suspect that maybe thgere's a palm os program. Have you dopne a search on goog;le for it? I will try and see what I can find if anything and post back.

CallLog+ kinda does what you want but it records the call in Outlook on the PC which I guess can be re-synced back to the Treo. There's a free trial version so download it and see if it fits your needs

I'd take a look at Your Call from iambic.com. It sounds like your looking to track call info and I think Your Call can be config to do something like that. There's a trial version to test out.

Welcome to Treonauts, stilwjm! We're glad you're here. I don't know of any programs off the top of my head that will put it in the calendar, but aside from the excellent possibilities above, you might also look at Agendus or DateBk6 and see if either of those have that ability. They go further in integrating PIM data with the phone, so I would give that a look. If you find something that works, please post back so that others who may want the same functionality can do the same.

Another thought I had, although it won't do what you're asking, it will register the time/date stamp of the calls and that is Call Rec. Not sure what the purpose of putting that info in the calendar is, but if you just want to know time/date then Call Rec might work for you as well.

Stilwjm, after responding to your post earlier today, I spent some time looking at Your Call which I had on my 650. The version 1.x didn't impress me enough to install it on my 680 so I forgot about it, but looking at the newest version 2.2, and since I use Agendus as my PIM, I'm fairly certain I upgrade. I've had a similar need to schedule meetings and take notes while on a call and have lost/hung up on the caller more than once while doing various tasks. This app looks like it will help the multi-tasking and log the call to a contact or create a meeting entry on the calendar from the call info. So again, I'd check this out with a trial version and see if it'll integrate with your calendar and log your calls the way you need it to.
