Tracking Text Messages - Treo Forum

So i just got a Treo 680 and with the handy keyboard i've found myself making a lot of text messages and with my plan only allowing me 100 per month i want to make sure i dont go over that. does anyone know of any programs (preferably free of course) that would allow me to track how many text messages go out and reset it every month to make sure i dont go over my limit?

It's a good idea but I haven't heard of a program that does it

i dont know who your carrier is, but in my case, for sprint you can log into their website on ur phone and it shows how many txt msgs u got left until the billing period ends. this requires internet access through your wireless provider of course.

if you have internet access in your plan, im sure you should be able to do the same thing. gltu

Like c12ack says, you may be able to login to your carriers website and check your usage (I know you can on Sprint), but there are text trackers out there - I don't know of any freeware, but here are a couple:

SMS Count 2 (tracks text msg only)
Total Hawk (tracks cell minutes & txt)

welcome to treonauts jmfuller47 Glad to have you here! I think that cingularly att has a similar place to call and check your minutes and if you have a text plan check the numbers.

PictureSMS by Suntzu keeps records of sent, received and total. You can reset the count on your billing cycle date.
