| I made my first post! ![]() | I just installed this and I really like it. what is keeping me from buying it just yet is I would LOVE to see this app encompass the entire phone app. Can you continue the app when somebody calls in or when you call out? For now it seems to much a shell rather then an entire package. If you can do that I would even put an option in the preferences to have this as the default phone app, with no switching back and forth! I do have to say this is the nicest looking program hands down and that has me very close to buying despite the other issues. I was also wondering, if I buy it now are ALL future updates free, if so the intro $9.95 is definitely worth the ride... |

![]() | After trying out DialByPhoto for a couple of days, I liked it enough to register. However, there are a couple of improvements I would like to see: First, the app doesn't display international characters, that is a must if you want it to spread outside of the english speaking world. Second, I would like to chose which contacts app to use. I am using AdressXT, but can't jump to this app from DialByPhoto. Third, I would like DialByPhoto to detect whether a number is a cell phone no when using SpeedSMS. For most parts, though, a really nice and well written application that truly improves the user experience of my Treo. Thanks, Tomas |

![]() | I wished I'd of checked the Treonauts site, I'm ashamed to say I spent about $3.00 more for it than it can be purchased for here ![]() Oh well, I will say I tried it out for about a week before buying it. I mainly love the fact that the most useful numbers are easily found. Things I'd like to see: 1. Mentioned before but have the abilty to change the launched app for email/contacts/etc 2. Have the ability to change the links on the front page (I want a link to Splash Money) or an alternative would be allowing application launches from your "contact" list instead of requiring them all to be numbers. 3. And finally....and I feel the most important....hopefully you'll be able to overlay the phone application from Palm. Because, as mentioned before, moving from DialByPhoto to that nonsense during a call is just not right. |

![]() | International characters I downloaded this application and it seems to be a great thing, but i'm hungarian and i'm using non-english characters in contact names and agenda entries like á.é.*.ó.ő,etc. These characters are still missing from the font set, so i cannot use this program to replace the original one. Edit: Ok, i found that setting the font set to the original Palm ones will help, but those fonts are ugly and it would be great if you could set the font sizes for each text type (e.g. contact name, agenda entry, menu item, etc.) Last edited by tcm1976; 06-22-2007 at 02:33 AM. |
