Playing Music on Treo 700p- real or pocket tunes - Treo Forum

Arrgh. Just upgraded from the 650 to the 700p and can't play my music!! The real player where I had music says I am not authorized to play the music (I have tried endlessly to go back and reauthorize, but I can't on real player) Still works on the 650 and refuses to work on the 700p.

Real player no longer seems to have treo listed as a possible device.

Same with Pocket tunes.
My computer has vista with media 11 on it.

I have access to another computer with XP Pro and the older media but I can't find the treo choice anywhere. I could cry.

Any advice would be appreciated.

In the media 11, I can't find the line with tools and options--- there doesn't seem to be one on top, bottom or the sides. ARrghhh.

I'm not following what the problem is exactly. Is it a problem of transfering your music to your Treo? Pocket Tunes Basic is included, and I wouldn't expect it to have any problems playing your music, unless it's an unsupported format.

My problem is getting the music onto the pocket tunes and then onto the treo. When I want to put the music on the treo, I can't seem to find the treo as a possible choice to download the music too. I cant find the treo on real player an can't find the treo on pocket tunes. arrghh.

I cant get the music to the treo. cant get it downloaded to the system so I can send it to the treo.

I must be slow. I know its me, just got to figure it out. :-)

Real player used to have a section of burn/transfer to and palm one was a choice. I can't find the palm one there anymore.

Here's a guide for transferring music via Windows Media Player onto a Treo/Pocket Tunes, might help

...or, if your music is in your music folder, copy the music to your sd card. Pocket Tunes will then check the card for all supported music and should play. I don't hotsync my music to my 700P, it takes to long.
