Windows Media Player 11 sync problems with Ptunes

Has anyone had problems syncing subscription music to ptunes using Windows Media Player 11. When syncing a list of songs, after the first song, the rest of the sync list goes to a "stopped" status and will not continue. I am on a 700p and the subscription music happens to be from URGE. Any insight greatly appreciated! Leaving on a cruise Sunday, was hoping to use my treo for music by the pool and beach. Thanks!

have you tried to copy the music files using a card reader? it's a heck of a lot easier, imo.

Thanks for the quick reply Brandon but the license info doesn't copy over that way and it won't play it. Iv'e been able to copy over cd ripped songs in that way. It appears it's specific to URGE tracks. Wonder id pocket tunes 4 does anything to address this? I've used Napster in the past for subscription music but that was on an old Windows Media Player version and the different music service provider.

I was able to downlevel to Window Media Player 10, through a rollback and by manually deleting some windows media files. I am now able to use Napsters subscription service to transfer to my treo.... If anyone can tell me if they know of a WMP 11/URGE issue I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

yes!!

In fact, although they don't say it when you first buy it... pTunes 4.0 is NOT compatible with MP11. It works fine with 10... in fact, they walked me (via print out from their help FAQ) through a reverting process back to the MP 10 version.. then it works just fine... (although slow).

also.... I have a similar issue. I loaded some tunes on my SD card using pTunes 4.0 and MS Media Player 11... and it spazzed my card...then I find out later that pTunes 4.0 isn't compatible with MS MP11... now the card seems trashed... PC won't reformat it... and Treo won't read it... any suggestions?
