![]() | I have a fat DB! Pls recommend a diet! OK, I promised a while back to ask a really stupid question, so here it is. Enjoy! (and yes, I have searched.... )This now happens not only with Pocket Tunes, but several other apps - Acid Image, MobiPocket Reader, etc. Yes, I have added quite a few useful little apps recently (so this is all Kimmy's fault, really ) but whenever it's possible, I run them from my SD card. So when I want to play, say Pocket Tunes, why does the little warning pop up that states: "ERROR - database out of memory. Delete old data or unneeded applications. (Dm 0201)"I use FlushIt on a regular basis (once an hour!) and I use FileZ to delete what i THINK are obviously superfluous files. So I must be doing something wrong. So here's the dumb question: which database are they referring to and how do I keep it lean and mean so I can use Pocket Tunes, et al.? |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | How much on device memory do you have to play with? Like Taz said in the other thread, it probably has something to do with the cache.

![]() | About 3000kb. All apps that can be moved have been moved to the card. And I still can't open Pocket Tunes because it claims I don't have enough memory. (I do have another "dumb" question that might be relevant: when I browse through FileZ, I can see one entry marked "Docs" that is about 2000kb and another one marked "Sprdsheets" that is about 2000kb. However.....I don't have ANY documents or spreadsheets loaded into MobiSystems Office - I deleted them all. Where are these two entries from, and, can I delete them?) |

![]() | Anyone? (I deleted all the little apps I use only occasionally - plus - the "docs" and the "spreadsheets" and that brought me back to about 8mb free - at least enough to use Pocket Tunes Deluxe. Still like to know exactly WHICH databases I should be keeping an eye on so I can clear them occasionally. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Yes, That is the cool thing about FileZ. It allows you to move and delete files. Delete them. Just back up your data just in case. ![]() |
