Another way to DIY ringtones - Treo Forum

I just joined the Treo World--Santa brought a sparkly new Unlocked Treo 680. So far, just great! Looking forward to the new battery, but I really really like this phone!

Anyway, I've read all the posts on creating ringtones--here's one more way that may not even require another download: Using iTunes! I use a mac (and this link shows the process on a mac) but it's the same basic idea on Windows as well.

The only change is, instead of setting iTunes to convert to MP3, set to WAV.

I used 11.025 Mhz, 8 bit, Mono (under custom).

I have had a lot of success using audacity to rip the tones I want and then sending them to the phone via bluetooth or using myxertones. Both have easy user interfaces.

Hev you checked out the user guide. It should have something in there on how to do it. I have a 750 so I'm no longer that familiar with the palm os.
