NEW: Blue Diamond released!

Hello guys,

I am happy to report that I have just release it version 1.21 of a new game: Blue Diamond

Blue Diamond is a simple yet addictive game that you can play at any time. The premise of the game is as follow:

You are a master thief who has been caught trying to steal the infamous “Blue Diamond” from a vault in a Swiss bank in Geneva. The director of the bank is giving you a unique chance to leave the bank with some serious cash. Of course, the bank director is doing this to avoid bad publicity. There is a catch, though! The director likes to play games and he wants you to play along. Actually, you don’t have any choice! Either you play and maybe get some cash or he calls the police. The game consists of a vault with 26 safety deposit boxes. One of the boxes contains the infamous “Blue Diamond” and the rest have cash amounts that range from $0.01 to $750,000.00. The “Blue Diamond” is valued to $1,000,000 (or 1M).

How To Play?

You play by first choosing a safety deposit box. This becomes your box. The director will then ask you to open 6 mores boxes. The goal is to not open boxes with large amount of cash or the Blue Diamond (valued at $1M) since it would mean that amount is not inside your box. Once you open all 6 boxes, the director of the bank will then offer you to buyback your box for a certain amount. The more money is left in the vault the higher the offer will be. If you refuse the offer then you will need to open 5 then 4 and so on. Each time you will receive an new offer from the director.

i've been playing this game for about a week now and i can't say enough about it! it's great, kinda like the american game show 'deal or no deal'. i've been left holding the 1 cent box numerous times, but i've also gotten the million dollar box as well! give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Thank you so much guys. I am very glad you like it. Yes it is based on the US TV show "deal or no deal". I LOVE this game so I said why not try to have it on my Treo? So that what happened. I tried to add some more features because the game on TV is not the same than playing by yourself on the Palm. A great user, suggested why not actually compete with the banker so that what I implemented. I am currently trying to implement another user suggestion which is at the end of the game, to give the banker the highest offer you refuse during the game. That way you will think twice about refusing an offer! You can still refuse all the offers and see if you get the blue diamond ($1M) in your box but it could cost you (i.e: make the banker even richer!).

I am also planning on developing a Palm/Zodiac landscape version (320x480).

Hi guys,

I am happy to annonce the release of Blue Diamond 1.3! The main change is what happened at the end of the game (assuming you got the courage to go all the way to find what is your box). Until now, you pocketed the content of your box and the banker gets nothing. Not very fair is it? In version 1.3, the banker pocket the highest amount offered during the game. That should make you think long and hard before refusing his (banker) offer!

Thank you so much for your warm welcome! I really appreciated it. I am having fun developing for the Treo/Palm/Zodiac. I have a T650 and a TC and I love it. But more importantly I really love to work with my beta testers and users to try to improve the games I am developing (for fun).
