![]() | i have a treo 680 and i really like how much it can do. the only thing i am having problems with is watching a movie on my 680. My girlfriend loves Dr. Suess movies. I got her a treo 680 also and she really loves it. i want her to be able to watch one of the movies on her phone. i have been trying for about 2 weeks to figure out how to make it work but keep comming up short. i got it from a dvd. it was one of those digital copies. i downloaded it to my windows media player so that i could put it on my phone. the format is WMV. but unfortuanately i cant find a movie player that works with this format. i really like the kinoma player but it wont work with the movie. how do i change the format, get the right program, or download the video differently to make this work. if anyone can help please let me know. |

![]() | I can't think of anything that for sure plays WMV files, but TCMP plays a ton of stuff. You might try that and, if necessary, convert your movie to one of the many formats that it does play. Just google "tcmp" and you'll find a gob of info and download sites. HTH |

![]() ![]() ![]() | I think the Treo 680 can play MP4, and AVI files. I don't have this kind of treo, but, MagicDVDRipper is my favorite ripper/converter. The best thing is that it's faster than any of the other converters I've tried, and has a lot of options, yet is very easy to figure out how to use. A two hour movie takes about 35-40 minutes. You can change the quality and the language, subtitles/language. You can do batch files, and my favorite feature is that you can choose to copy the main movie, or copy the trailers, menus and other features. |
