Gmail IMAP Problems - Treo Forum

Hey all,
now that Gmail has enabled IMAP, I was pretty excited to get that going on my Sprint 755p...but it's really flaky in VersaMail 3.5.4. I hit the "Get" button, and it gets maybe 2-3 messages the first time it queries the server, then gets no more messages, even though I have dozens in my inbox. IMAP is enabled in Gmail, and I followed all the setup procedures per the Gmail instructions. What gives?

Have you checked the settings in Versamail that control how many messages, and how recent, and if it gets messages that have already been read?

Oh and thanks for informing me of gmail's IMAP access.

From my understanding, it is only supported by the iPhone. Versamail is not supported.

I think it works in chattermail I tried and it does work.

or was it just pop access that I tried

It should work with all Mail apps that support IMAP. You can take a look here for some helpful information from Google.

It says that VersaMail is not supported on Palm.
