Is anyone aware of a plugin or workaround that would allow you to open an attached email message in VersaMail. I receive forwarded email messages that themselves have .wav files in them. I can not get to the .wav file attachment to play it, because neither VersaMail nor Chattermail will open the attached email (.eml) message. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Can the person sending the message not forward the message in-line rather than as an attachment?

I'm currently researching the same issue with Treo 650s. We're currently using Versamail version 3.1b and 3.5. By default the 650s cannot open emails sent as attachments, but on a 650 with 3.5 and Docs to Go, you can open the attachment with the web browser or MMHtmlPlugin--both bury the message in header garbage. Neither, I assume, would let you open a WAV attachment.

Anyway, I am interested if anyone has a solution to the OP's predicament.

Thanks for the posts. The sender of the messages (that I refer to in my original post) is my firm's voicemail server. Our IT personnel are trying to see if they can reconfigure the voicemail server to send the .wav attachments through "in-line", but that is apparently proving to be difficult. Until I upgraded last week to the 755p, I was using PCS Business Connection on my 650 as my email client. It had no trouble recognizing the embedded .wav file and playing it (with a plugin). Unfortunately, Sprint is not supporting PCS Business Connection for the 755p as of yet (if ever). It is disappointing to "upgrade" your phone and actually take a step back in functionality!
