Email - Best Set Up Options

I recently got a 755p Treo and so far so good... I was wondering if I am managing my mail properly with this device, so I figured I'd asked the experts!

I have two email accounts set up on my Treo

1) Cox (cox.net) - settings are incoming pop.west.cox.net and I use a account with Gmail for the outgoing and bcc a copy to my cox account when sending. Incoming is fine, but had to go the Gmail SMTP for outgoing due to cox.net blocking off network devices for outgoing email (spam issues). Works fine but I needed to set up a rule on my PC to driect all PDA "sent" mail to a special folder (this way I have a copy of sent PDA mail at all locations)

2) Gmail - works fine, no issues

I am using Versamail, but I think I want a bit more. Would Chattermail be a good alternative?

What are you doing if you ISP blocks SMTP/Outgoing mail from your device?

Your pretty much doing the right thing. Some other people use their cell providers outgoing settings, but what you have is absolutely great. As far as Chattermail goes, its a great alternative. Palm liked it so much they bought the rights to use it in upcoming versions of their OS. Check out the features and see if its right for you.
