VersaMail Help!!!!!

Hello,

just purchased a Treo680 which I am totally digging, I work from home and this allow's me to take my work to the beach,skatepark,hiking...pretty much where ever

Set up VersaMail to get my work outlook mail, and it was quick and easy to setup, however I can only see my Inbox and not any of my subfolders.

Does anyone know how to make it so I can actually see my subfolders? have found nothing addressing this issue on the internets.

HELP

thanks,
trip2dafunk

I think you'll have to use a different mail client if you want that type of functionality. Take a look at Snappermail, Chatteremail, Agendus Mail, and RoadSync.

It depends on your desktop email client. Is your email IMAP compatable? If it is, you can set Versamail to sync with a select few of your subfolders. If your email is only pop3 (Yahoo for example) you will only be able to download what is in you inbox.

On the menu there is an option to "Sync Server Folders" This should allow you to choose which folders on the server to sync on your device. Just check the ones you want to sync.

It's not a question of wether or not your client is IMAP compatible, but wether or not the server is.

With POP3, you connected to the server, pull down your mail and close the connection. All your folders and filters are unique to each machine you connect from.

With IMAP, the e-mail is stored on the server until you delete it. All your folders and filters exist on the server.

In most cases, you don't have a choice. The server is configured one way or the other.
