Haven't heard anything about it, but it's not surprising.

They said a while back that it was not going away forever, and to expect a new interation of it to surface once the new Linux based OS came out. I look forward to hearing some new stuff, as I was always a fan.

skoenig has a spectacular aura aboutskoenig has a spectacular aura about
Netbook 2.0 I hope.

Given the massive availability of low cost small foot print computing devices I'm assuming Palm could now do with software what they tried to achieve with both software and hardware.

It's frankly astounding if you think about what these device now come with. Without bargain hunting you can easily find:

Atom 1.6Ghz, 1GB ram, 160Gb, webcam, 10 inch LED screen, bluetooth, 11N, 1.5lb WinXP, decent brand name

For $390... It still amazes me.

Still, with their current bought in design prowess I'd still give a Palm netbook a second look.
