At http://phpclasses.web4u.cz/browse/package/2000.html is database of mobile devices and user-agent strings which thy send to webserver. There are also test script which will show you how to use it. I think iit can sometimes help you.

Thanks for the tip... I'll use that when I'm looking at a mobile version of this. THoguht I think it'll have to be the lowest common (treo friendly) denominator instead of several if elses...or switch cases...

Not sure if you've looked at the mobile version of Windows Mobile News, Reviews, and Opinion | WMExperts hint hint. It's a nice version. You can go to first unread post plus mark all read. Out of the mobile forums I use, it has the best format. HINT HINT!
