These are two sticks of matched Samsung 512MB DDR2 PC2-3200 RAM, 240-Pin DIMMS (total 1 GB Dual Channel RAM). The label says Samsung (very good in its own right) but they are also the Dell factory installed ram and came with a Dimension 8400 desktop. They are in great condition, no scratches, dust or markings of any kind and working, obviously. I'll back that up with a 15 day warranty. If this ram goes wrong in 15 days from the delivery date you'll get a refund on their return.

You want a kit of matched ram so that you can guarantee dual-channel memory access from your motherboard (if it supports it). See this Wikipedia entry for why this is important to you. Basically, faster memory access and therefore a faster system give you more life from your hardware before you need to upgrade the whole thing. Off course more ram on top of what you might have will help reduce swap file access enormously.
