![]() | Top Five Uses For Your Treo (NOT including phone and email)... So much conversation has been devoted to the positive and negative aspects of Treos and other devices, their performances in a real-world environment, the nifty little widgets some have, the must-have 3rd-party apps, the *cough-cough* iPhone, and comparisons between all of them, that it spurred a great (IMVHO) conversation between myself and Aubie88. Those interested can read it here. It's a stroke of sublime and basic brilliance on Aubie88's part (again, IMVHO) to ask the question and do the research he mentioned. In that spirit, maybe we can find out from each of you what the top five uses for your Treo are (NOT including phone and email.). Mine are: 1- Office document (Word, Excel and Powerpoint) editing (Office Suite 7). 2- GPS (TomTom) 3- FTP (Resco Explorer) 4- Music (pTunes) 5- News / Weather (Pocket Express Elite) Obviously, most of you are using many more functions than 5. However, in the interest of expediency, let's keep it to five*, and, if you're able to decide, the TOP 5, in order of usage. I believe that your answers will go a long way towards letting others have a bit of insight into how others are using their Treos. Pete *This number does not apply to Chauncey.

![]() ![]() | Mine are: 1. Googling for information ![]() 2. Calendar and Contacts: ![]() 3. Encyclopedias/Dictionarys/Databases for research ![]() 4. Treonauting ![]() 5. Time killing entertainment/shopping/games ![]() ![]() 5.5 Use as flashlight to discover interior of large, dark purse ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Please note: numbers 4 and 5 are especially frequent during otherwise important functions, when I wish to appear to be doing numbers 1,2 and 3. Number 5.5 simply had to be included because without this VERY important feature, life as I know it would cease to function. I would have enjoyed listing the other important uses of Chauncey the Treo, but was trying to respect the original post. Thank you Pete. |

![]() | Actually, eclair.........my intent (not always made clear in words) is that phone and email would not repeatedly get repeated. And, I suppose I actually meant "The At Least Top 5 Uses" (I've also included a Chauncey exclusion in the post), so........ I know that I would certainly enjoy hearing much more about Chauncey, please continue.
