I tried to clean my treo 700p (again)

and ruined the keyboard pcb

you SHOULD have NOT tried it yourself. You should have used Extreme Screen and waffle irons, or, AAA suds'o' plenty and pedicures. How did the 700p get dirty in the first place? Oh dear, I hope it wasn't treoe !!!

It was treoe but the issue is GONE! all I need is a tiny screw for the keyboard pcb.

I first let the phone sit for a day or two that didn't work.

Then on the second day I set the phone outside in the cold with a close eye on it. that didn't work.

The night of the second day I opened the phone up a lot of times that didn't work.

I gave up and didn't bother completely reassembling the phone (I left a little metal piece around the screen out along with the antenna) I put that in a bag and let it sit while I looked at treo prices mon ebay.

THAT WORKED!

I just need one of the tiny screws for the keyboard pcb.

Can someone change the title of this thread to was almost completely treoless but the treo suddenly started working.
