![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Here is the just of the page I saved last night. Remember, this is not Saguero, but rather an application that allows you to run widgets from within it. I'm sure it will be useful to those looking for the funtionality of widgets, without downloading all of Saguero. There was one other graphic that I was unable to save, which was an animation of the widgets sliding in as would be seen on the screen of your pda. ![]() There was a wish. It was for Saguaro – with just those miniature applications called “widgets.” Sometimes wishers know best. After all, widgets couldn’t be more fun, so convenient, and gorgeous atop a platform so highly acclaimed. Introducing LineUp. It’s the fusion of Saguaro mixed deliciously with widgets. What’s in a widget. They say the start of something great requires big thinking. When it comes to bringing the best of the large-scale Web to mobile devices, we think you’ll agree that the next big thing is smaller thinking. Think of widgets as the web gone mobile. No more endless scrolling up, down, and side-to-side to read the latest news, only to wish you had your laptop with you. Widgets are miniature applications, elegantly designed with enjoyment in mind, to get you the latest news, weather information, and more to-go, live from the source. Nifty doesn’t even begin to describe them. ![]() It’s just widgets. How could we make an application that just does widgets? Widgets are tiny applications themselves, and they need multitasking capabilities. With all the buzz surrounding “widgets” these days, you may never have realized that making widgets sing on a mobile device would require such an extensive foundation. Not if you want them to put the marketing buzzword to shame, at least. Built on a slimmed-down Saguaro with innovative extras that only widgets could need, LineUp is the new widget platform designed for what it does best – widgets. Everything in a line. Musical chairs is passé. Here’s one way to manage that ever-growing assortment of widgets you just can’t bear the thought of uninstalling – in a line. Place everything in a lineup. Widget lineup, that is. Simply tap to scroll left or right, and that widget gracefully slides in. LineUp can take you back, or to another widget, just as quickly. The navigation bar, located at the bottom of the display, makes switching widgets as fast-paced as changing the channel on your TV. Widgets and more in store. LineUp is bundled with a handful of widgets to get you started. Read CNN News, FOX News, The New York Times, ESPN, BBC News, and many more. Get real-time weather conditions from around the world. Or, have some fun with Magic 8-ball and Fortune Cookie. And we’re just getting started. Many more widgets are already in development. Click here to be notified when new widgets are available. Saguaro at the core. From advanced animations to its stunningly responsive user interface, LineUp pushes limits others would write-off as impossible. It’s all thanks to Saguaro, and it’s apparent everywhere you look. What other application offers such an engaging user interface with the unmatched flexibility of the Saguaro application programming interface? It’s an unrivalled platform destined to host a collection of dazzling widgets.
