Google offering $11.4 Million

I think this belongs here, it looked like news to me. Pls. feel free to move to another location. Anyway, GOOGLE Inc is offering $11.4 million to people who build best software for their new mobile phone os. A panel of judges will pick 50 winners. Entrys must be received 1/2/08-3/3/08. I hope one of our Treonauts will go for this.

Also, yesterday's 11/12/07 Wall Street Journal Has interesting article called:"T-Mobile Wagers Deal With Google Is Worth the Risk". It is by Amol Sharma. It discusses the possible compromise to customer privacy because of "openness" of Android's platform. T-Mobile says it will screen 3rd party apps. using the user's geographical locale and communications history to "protect" customer's security and privacy.
