Foles specs uncovered - Treo Forum

Engadget have been sniffing around at LinuxWorld and have uncovered specs for Palms, hopefully, soon to be released Foleo. Here are the main ones :-

416MHz Intel / Marvell PXA27x processor
Marathon 2700G graphics accelerator with video output
128MB of RAM and 256MB of non-volatile memory
CompactFlash slot located behind the battery, and a SD expansion slot
WiFi support.

It's got a faster processor than had previously been thought which is good

All Palm are saying is late summer for a US release with other regions following some time after that

On a positive note, they have been giving out retail boxed Foleo's to developers at LinuxWorld so it shows it's ready for sale now

Palm said it will be out before autumn, so at least by Sept. 23. There were also some rumors floating around that it would be out towards the end of this month. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Mind you lets face it, Palm are not good at keep to timed launches

Come on Palm there is only so long that I can keep the cash waiting......

Palm's time to market does seem unbearably long, part of that with the Treo's is carrier testing, but they can't really use that excuse with the Foleo
