8GB chip with Treo???? - Treo Forum

Does anyone know if the 8GB SD cards will work on the treo in any way? I found a patch to allow me to use the 4GB chip on my 700p, but I would rather purchase the 8GB chip if it will work! Thanks!

I believe that you have to use the sdhc hack. Here is the link for Andrew's Blog. This will show you how.

I bought myself the Adata 8GB SD card from Newegg for a mere $58 (also my $15 rebate check arrived a few weeks back too thus making it $43!)...

Applied the above hack and it's all hunky dorey!

Filled it with 7.8GB of movies and made sure I could play them all.
