Shoot, I just got my 700p! OH well, I love it and I will let you egg heads learn the quirks and then I can get it! Obviously, this is if it is really going to happen ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Well, Maybe the developers, if they are smart enough, have been reading forums like this one. If they did, then they would understand what the people really want. One of those real wants is...........WiFi, amongst other things. But if Palm wants to stay ahead, they need to listen to the PEOPLE man. Listen to what we want, but then again, Our pockets aren't as deep as the 3g, EVDO etc. providers. Oh well, just maybe the little guy will get what he wants this time. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Thats kinda what I thought when I read it! While it would be nice, it kinda makes the whole thing seem a little hokey.

![]() ![]() ![]() | Yeah, It does make it sound hokey. But see, I am an optomistic person. So, this is my view. Antenna less, with an upgraded ROM compared to the 700P. More stability and WiFi. Yeah! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The thing that frustrates me about Palm is the speed at which new models get released. A 700P in a 750 body wouldn't have taken a lot of development and yet it's taken Palm a year to release it, by which time the technology world has moved on several steps. They need to either make small steps frequently or larger steps less frequently, what we get is small steps less frequently ![]()

| A Few Questions.... ![]() | hi, i'm new at this and i was wondering if anyone heard any word if this would become available for verizon. my two year upgrade was this week and i went looking into the 700p since i have a 650 and wanted to stick with palm os. the guy at the verizon store said that they were discontinuing the 700p. he then implied that unless they were planning on totally discontinuing the the palm based system (which he seriously doubted) that a new model would be coming out as soon as they finished selling the rest of the 700p in stock. was he blowing smoke? this happened yesterday and we finally got some confirmation pictures on the 755p for sprint today so i'm a little curious. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | It's likely Verizon will carry it but I'm sure Spint have and exclusive on it for the first few months as with previous models.
