![]() | How hard to scratch screen? Hey, Newbie here. First Treo. It's an 800W. Will the stylus scratch the screen? It seems like I have to drag pretty while playing solitaire. Do I really need screen protectors for the stylus? I'm really easy on my other phones and PDA's. Thanks. ![]() |

![]() ![]() | Welcome to treonauts! I would highly recommend a Screen Protector, I like the JavoScreens because they're invisible, fit perfectly, anti-glare, etc.. but there are less expensive products. And yes the screens do/can get scratched/nicked, and once they do get marked I swear that's the first thing you see on the screen. Bottom line: hey it's new - protect it!

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I would get a screen protector. I'm pretty good with mine, and chose not to use one for a while. Then I got a piece of sand on the end of my stylus and.....screeeeeeeeeeech. Bad day.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Agreed! Must have it is. A simple rub against the corner of the counter or a pen or anything sharp, to include the stylus, can scratch the screen. I wear glasses and I tell you what, the most annoying thing is to have a scratch on them. Imagine how annoying that would be on the Treo screen? |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | You guys must've worn pocket protectors in grade school. Live a little...take a walk on the wild side...risk a scratch here and there. Where is your sense of adventure. Seriously though, I totally agree with getting a screen protector and actually would even recommend one of the two high schock, scratch resistant accessories (InvisibleShield or BodyGuardz). Here is a review on both from TC: treocentral.com >> Stories >> Commentary >> BodyGuardz vs. invisibleSHIELD |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Pocket Protector? Dude, that I did not do. I was actually into sports and hated geek stuff. But I have seen the light. I do have a pocket protector now and a screen protector. *snort* lol |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | LOL Comiken. I do wonder whether the 800W has a built in screen protector like the Centro. Unfortunately, many Centro users found that they needed a screen protector anyway, which often resulted in a loss of touchscreen sensitivity. Damned if you do, and damned if you don't. ::::sigh::: Where is my pocket protector? |
