Actually, Palm is better with MS Office documents than Blackberry (native format creating / editing with much better emulator and GUI).
Docs To Go is okay, but Office Suite 7 is a bit more comprehensive.

So, Office Suite 7 is an application for our mobile device(s)?

Yup. I had Docs To Go, and liked it, but Office Suite Professional 7 does a lot more, and is as close as anything I've seen to working on your notebook.
You can see it here.

well, it's not an iphone for sprint, which i think a lot of people expected it to be... plus it'll get refined, it's a brand new software package. the iphone sucked plenty as far as apps when it first came out, and the data was glacial.

personally, i'm picking one up, because i've been a sprint customer for about 10 years, and it's not worth it for me to switch, but i want a cool phone, that's SIMILAR to the iphone, and the instinct fits that for me.

Yep, but I'll say that I hear mostly bad things about it. I'll try to get first hand info from a friend of mine who just got one. I have no idea why he was willing to go from a WM device to that, especially since he could have waited and got a 800w.

You may want to be careful here, if you're watching iPhone development as a possible parallel to Instinct development. Samsung will not put the resources into development here that Jobs did, nor did Samsung's investment in the Instinct come anywhere near Apple's in the iPhone.
Not to say it's a bad phone. And like Taz says, if it works for you, go for it.
cNet review here.

If I have any issues here though, it's the title of this thread.
(Those of you who know me are probably rolling your eyes, saying 'here comes his damned Corvette/John Deere speech.') I'll spare you guys.

But.....if one more person comes up with another comparison between two devices that have nothing to do with each other besides phone, internet and email, I may just start a thread of my own......say.........

Just a personal preference - my BF just got an Instinct and I have the 755p. I prefer having the hard qwerty keyboard with a screen above. Also, although quite trivial, the Instinct does not have "smilies" for the text messaging.

I appreciate that this question was asked.. I looked into the Instinct and decided it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. I would have bought it on the spot if it wasn't for the fact that my contract isn't up yet.

Now I hear about the Palm/Linux Treo later this year and I am curious. If that is true I will want to see it as well.

Like the original post, I was very impressed with what I saw in the instinct.

Nova OS is not due out until 09, tentatively in early 09, but Palm has a way of sliding the release dates back.
