| A Few Questions....  | Blocking calls Hello. I am fairly new to the Treo family. I have a Treo 750 and I am constantly receiving phone calls from an 800 collection agency asking for someone else. I am tired of this and I have tried to explain several times that I have only had this number for a very short time and they are reaching the wrong person. Still they persist in callling my number at the rate of every 2 hrs or so. Is there anyway that I can block this call permanently from my phone? I have learned so much from this forum. I appreciate all of your knowledge and being so willing to assist others. Thank you.

 | one way to stop them calling would be to get their number and call the better business bureau and complain. i'm not sure about call blocking apps. i haven't seen any that i remember. and even if you were able to block a call, collection agencies usually have more than one number they call from, so you'd be blocking more calls than ever.

 | First, I'd recommend writing a cease and desist letter to the business. Second, there is an app that just became freeware this week for Palm OS, called "Call Block." But as Brandon said, you may have to block multiple numbers. |
