newbie - can rotate display/software to do this?

Hello all!

This is my first post as a newbie... thanks in advance for your help. I am trying to get my belkin wireless keyboard that I used with my old palm to work on my new treo 650. It works, but have to turn it sideways to get the proper angle/distance with the mirror. A new battery resulted in the same outcome. I have tried to adjust the mirror in an infinite amount of distance and directions to get it to work and the only way to work is with the keyboard about 3 inches from the infrared sensor on the 650.

1. Is anyone using a belkin wireless keyboard on a 650 w/o any problems? If so, any tips?
2. Is there a free/cheap metod or software app to get the screen to rotate so I can just lay the treo on the side and use the keyboard w/o having to look into getting another keyboard (I haven' t found a free way to do it on palmgear's or belkin's site)?

http://www.mobile-stream.com/landscape_info.html give this a shot. i put some screenshots on here too. it's 10 bucks, but should be worth it. either that or buy a new keyboard, i guess. oh yeah, it'll rotate the other way too.

Nice... yeah! I like that .. yes I do. Score one for Brandon! Be nice if palm included that as standard it's afarily simple programming trick to rotate the screeen and it does have some uses as discovered by bbowers.

Welcome bbowers!

I think Palm didn't bother with this feature due to the Treo's having square screens, so there's little benefit in rotating it. Of course I could be completely wrong, it did happen once before
