![]() | NEWBIE - HELP! Auto Answer for 750v Hi there Just thought I'd start my first day as a newbie with a question about auto settings on my 750v. I have recently bought a bluetooth headset for my motorcycle helmet. At the moment I have to press a key at the side of it to answer calls which is a bit hit and miss with motorcycle gloves!!! I have searched high and low and can't work out whether this phone is capable of setting it to auto answer. I have found an option for answering the phone immediately or with a slight delay in car wired kit but it isn't a car kit and I have even checked the relevant boxes to see if it may work on bluetooth but it doesn't. I wondered whether any techies out there may be able to help.... Great site by the way...! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I don't run WM, but it seems reasonable that there should be an auto-answer feature with a headset. What do you find under the settings?

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | It's a Nolan crash helmet with their N-Com system I take it Can't find anything under the settings for auto-answer with a Bluetooth headset, there is a tick box for it under Wired car kit but I doubt that's going to help ![]()

![]() | Guys thanks for your input. Lotuslord - its more the settings of the phone and not the helmet. Forgot - yes you are right it would seem reasonable but I can't find it!!! Tazuk - you are spot on...is that because you have one?! I also found the auto answer feature in the wired car kit but that doesn't seem to do anything sadly. I think it needs to be physically connected somehow for it to work which kind of defeats the object of bluetooth! Thanks once again for sharing your time. |

![]() | I don't know if this question is specific to the helmet setup or not, however, I have yet to get auto-answer to work on my 750 with ANY bluetooth headset / headphones. Where I live, we don't have a helmet law, so I don't wear one. I strap it on the back if I am traveling to another state with a helmet law...

![]() | gdseric & jfa112851 - Many thanks for your comments. No, the question is not motorcycle helmet specific. I just want to know if you can set auto answer on the phone. Having done quite a lot of research I'm pretty sure you can't. Perhaps someone may know of a third party program that would offer a solution? It would need to work with WM6..... |
