Streaming on OS operating system.

Is there a program out there that will support the Palm operating system in watching videos. I noticed coreplayer does not support WMV files. kind of an inconvenience

Hey thanks. Thought I had that installed already. Maybe I need to upgrade. Always got "unsupported format". I'll give it a try

i'm an old zodiac 2 user (which I still use) and an old version of kinoma was included in ROM. it was slow, buggy and tcpmp did cart wheels around it. how does the current version perform on a treo? is it worth the money now?

The current version seems pretty good, fairly well recommended around here.

We don't really get those kinds of comments from customers, so if you don't mind elaborating I'll do my best to give you an honest appraisal.

I think it's comparable to anything else you'll find, except in cases of features that nothing else on the Palm OS platform can do.

I have used Kinoma for about a year now. I get to view the videos I want, most of the time. Sometimes I get the "File Format Unsupported" but I think that may have to do with the way the video is encoded.

Hey, as long as I can stream my XM, then it is all good with me.

@ Charles: I was being less than fair with that statement and I regret it currently... I was comparing a version of kinoma that was much less polished (version 2) than what your current version is. to be honest, I'm looking into getting the Kinoma 4 EX and I was just trying to make sure that everyone was happy with it before I parted with my hard earned cash ;-). I was also tired when I made that post and came across harsh, I'm sorry about that. i'll make sure to make all of my comments when I'm well rested lol.

And if you're not happy with it, let us know. We'll make it right one way or another.

Don't give it another thought! I was concerned but not offended, and Kinoma Player 4 EX v4.4 has come a long way from even v4.0, much less Kinoma Player 2.
