How do i get a 750 ready to sell? - Treo Forum

I have a 680 and i had a contract renewal and got a 750 refurb. How do i get this ready to sell? I dont want it to be able to access anything about my account or count toward my minutes. Im happy w/ the 680, the only reason i got it is because it was so cheap. I was just going to switch over to that depending on how i like WM6 but right now im just keeping my options open.

That information is held within you SIM card, if you don't have your SIM card in it then none of your account information/minutes will be used.

It would also be worth doing a hard reset to clear any logs of calls made or messages sent.

Ok thanks do i need to worry about the imei? number? Itll depend on how much i like WM5 or 6 which one i end up getting rid of. The main thing i like is the better camera on the 750 and the 3G.

Yes, but WM6 is a free upgrade.

I have seen on ebay where people are selling the free ATT cingular 750 upgrade for as much as 13.00 dollars. Interesting with no official word that i have seen about its release or have I missed something somewhere?

I want to test WM6 out before i choose which one i go w/. Is it ok to use the treo update 2.16? I think its for Vodafone?

I cant find the leaked version. The only links i saw for it had already been taken down. If someone can point me in the right direction then i might keep the 750.
