Moved from US to Europe...

I have moved from the US to Ireland, and I have brought my treo 650 along. Unfortunately, it doesn't work here. I was on Cingular in the states, and I have a couple of questions -

Is it possible for me to unlock the phone so that I can use it with an Irish provider?

If so, where would I find this info?

Or - can an Irish provider switch it for me?

I know it's an old phone, and I have a serviceable Nokia at the moment, but since I paid for this thing I would like to be able to use it. I feel a bit ripped off that I can own something and not have access to it wherever I go.

Yep, have a look on eBay or do a Google search there are lots of people who'll be able to do this for you
