hi everyone,
i am new here and i have a question -
i have a palmtreo 650, i have been using palm software to keep track of my calendar, contacts, etc..( which is a mistake) now i try to synch to ms outlook and no matter how i do or with technical help from palm (that costs me $35.00) the palm just could not synch to outlook -
there is a third party software chapura "pocket mirror" but still no help - it managed to lock up may palm and i have to reset it -
i am wondering if anyone know how to break palm's database into excel format so i can import it to outlook.
it gets so frustrated that even palm technical people can't resolve this problem - i called them so many times and the issue is still not resolved.
any feed back would be appreciated.

Welcome to treonauts hank. Sorery its undeerthese conditionshave you checked the custom setings on your hotsync manager It sounds like they are majorly messed up and cuasing a conflict. When you try to synch does it do anything at all like give you error messages as to what is failing and where. Please advise. Also do you any third party software installed other than the chapura pocket mirror. Do you have any backup software with a good backup on your desktop so you could do a hard reset if necessary.

It sounds to me you may have some third party software causing a conflict.

Another possibility is that you don't have the Outlook Sync Conduit. Do you have the software disc that came with the 650?

Yet another possibility is an incompatibility with the version of Outlook you are using.

SO the questions are:

What third party software are you using, besides pocket mirror?

What version of Outlook are you running?

And is it a Carrier branded or Palm Branded 650? If carrier branded what carrier?

What version of Palm Desktop are you running?
