I'm Treo-less

I'm sad to say my Treo took a nose dive a few hours ago. The screen has a nice jagged blotch in the upper left corner, with the rest of it being white and useless. I'm at work, and this is my first chance to post the dissapointing news. No email. No IM. No internet. There are no emoticons to express how I feel.

$445 to replace my 680 (new). I know I can replace the screen, but I'm an impatient fellow. Oh well, we'll see how I fair tomorrow.

I can still use the phone to make and receive calls, but aside from my few speed dials I have to do it all from memory! Thats why I have a Treo! I don't have a memory!!

Dear forgot,

This is one of the most difficult types of letters to write- the sympathy letter. Chauncey and I are both shocked and saddened upon hearing the news of the loss of your beloved treo. We feel inadequate and tongue-tied in writing to you, who we're sure are grief stricken, vulnerable, and hardly feel life is worth living. The pitfalls of this kind of letter are of saying too much or too little. So please accept our most sincere condolances, and, although nothing can take away the pain, may you find some small measure of comfort in all the fond memories you have of your beloved treo. He (or was it she I forgot?) will be sorely missed by all who were privileged to know him/her.

Open up your treo and let it cool amsr cut a hole in the housing after reassembling it.

Dennis & I were both saddened to hear of Timmy's accident and send our very best to you both. Dennis was especially troubled - it's always hard when one of your peers suffers such a devasting injury. Please keep us all up-to-date on Timmy's treatment and condition. We'll certainly be thinking of him.

Dude! Sorry to hear that. I got your tweet and was shocked when you posted such sad news. I know that your Treo and you were inseparable. Such loss will take heeling and such heeling will happen with time.

Did you have health insurance for your Beloved Treo? If so, the insurance maybe able to pay for the hospitalization reconstructive surgery.

It sound like the treo 650's "white screen of death" only with more of a screen malfunction.

Its not overheated, or having issues with a "white screen of death". Its broken. I'll post a pic later. The good news is that in 1-3 days I will have a replacement screen, and should be up and running in a flash.

Like I said before, calls can still be placed and received, but I can't see what I'm doing! Timmy is a trooper, through and through. Even with these injuries he is still at my side, blind but still able to speak. I thank everyone for their kind words and thoughts. We will let you know when everything is back in order.
