Treo 800 pics bogus - Treo Forum

This of course is my personal opinion. I think the pic of the vodaphone Treo 800 is bogus. Look carefully at the pic.
I know this is going to sound nuts but their is something about the way the phone seems to be floating off of the fingers on the right side that does'nt look right to me. Try to hold your own Treo like that. The fingers in the pic seem a little to far away from the bottom of the phone to support and allow the phone to lay flat for the pic. Especially if the 800 is thinner than a 755P. Just carefully think about it for a sec. Do I just need some sleep?
Have I been watching too many forensic crime shows?
Don't ya just love a nutty theory.
Time will tell.

You could be right! However, it can not discounted until evidence shows other wise.

I know they are looking into various form factors, but this one is ridiculous. Who knows though, maybe (if its even real) they actually took the time to research it a little and see what people want. Or they picked up the parts off the floor, put them in a can, shook it up, dumped them out and said....."Look! Our new design!"

It reminds me of the HTC Excalibur which, if it is real, it could be based on.

Hmmmmm......they do look a lot alike. Is it a pretty big seller? I haven't run across it before.

It was dubbed another Treo killer when it was announced, haven't heard much about it since. I thought it was butt ugly too

It runs WM 5.0 Smartphone edition, has a rectangular 320 x 240 screen, quad band GSM, 200Mhz TI OMAP processor, 64Mb RAM. It's sold by T-Mobile in the US under the name of Dash.
