650 -> 755 conversion questions

Ok, going to try and lay as much of this out as I can, in one place.
1.) I have the Tom Tom Palm GPS set-up. Can I just install the files onto a 2 GB miniSD card and use it with a 755p, or is there more to it?
2.) I'm interested in watching stored videos on the 755. Roughly, what's the GB necessary to watch an hour's worth of video for the more popular conversion formats?
3.) Do you need a special SDHC reader for the SDHC cards, or will previous SD card readers work for them?

1) Yes, you can install the map files onto a 2gig card.

2) Depends on your compression. Its possible to fit an entire feature length movie onto a 512mb card, but the quality isnt the same as if it were on a 1gig card. Its really up to you and what quality you want. Remember, your watching it on a fairly small screen.

3) Yes you need a special reader for SDHC cards, but I don't think the 755p accepts them. :/

1.) I know I can install the map files onto a miniSD card. My real question is whether it'll work with the 755p. Or am I likely to have to wait for a patch or something from Tom Tom to make it work? I vaguely recall it not working with the 680p at first, until a patch came out.

1) The Tom Tom site doesn't say that it officially supports the 755p yet, so at this point its trial and error. If you've already got the software it doesn't hurt to try.

3)Right now the 680 is the only Treo that will run SDHC, and thats not even supported. It just happens to do so. If you do a search on SDHC within the forums you can read about the formatting that allows this. In the end it really doesn't matter anyway as the 755p only supports miniSD, and there are not any miniSDHC cards.
