![]() | travelling to Italy with my 650: qq about maps, gps, et al Need some assistance from you superusers out there. In a couple weeks, I will be travelling to Italy. I have a lot of questions: phone use: As I understand it, my options with my [unlocked, using Cingular] Treo 650 are EITHER pay international roaming fees OR buy an Italian sim card, which is prepaid. That sound right? maps: google mobile is great, and it was easy to download maps for Rome and Florence. With my laptop I customized google maps (new feature in Google Maps called My maps) to show my hotel, restaurants, bars, etc. How can I get those maps to my Treo? Will they still be interactive? gps: I read the reviews on this site. Most people seem to be recommending the Tom-Tom maps, at least in the US. Are their Tom-Tom maps for Europe? or--better yet--a gps receiver that will work with Google maps? Thanks y'all. Bella |

I'm not sure the mobile version of Google Maps supports a GPS receiver ![]()
