![]() | Thanks for moving it, I wasn't aware there already was a relevant thread Reading through, it's the same as the reading glasses trick, but much more macro. I found that you can get cheap small magnifying glasses either from a jeweller's loupes, or also some cheap toys. Here's some pics using a Jeweller's Loupe. I wrote it earlier using my Dopod but it works the same for my Treo 650. http://docfiles.blogspot.com/2006/09..._10.html#links I find that using a range of different powered small lenses I can capture text (with lower power) and cool macro shots with high magnification. Needs steady hands though. ![]() |

![]() | Actually I initially thought the mod up coz I needed to take close up shots of cuts and lacerations, but it was all blurry. So I used a magnifying glass. Later I found out that the small magnifying glasses work even better. So I can catch gross shots like this : (Hehe sorry...gross pic removed and replaced with something milder ) ![]() Last edited by TreoDoc; 10-30-2006 at 02:40 AM. |

![]() ![]() | Welcome TreoDoc, Love that mod... I let Andrew know about it. He'll have more questions I'm sure. In the meantime would you mind if I remove the pic above (or replace it with something else...) it really is gross and, if Andrew covers it in his blog we'll get around 20,000 people arriving to have a look at the mod and it's pics as well as your site, and I really wouldn't want them to get all grossed out. ~ Steph

![]() ![]() | Thanks TreoDoc! Really appreciate it. Tried the mod myself and it worked really nicely. Although I think I need a slight stronger lens... ~ Steph
