| I used a 700wx with Verizon for a year and loved it. I've never used a plain W, but I've heard absolute horror stories about them just not having enough memory available to function properly, so I'd reccomend that you not get one, especially sicne the wx isn't much more expensive on ebay. The only issues I've had with it are that it uses the data connection for mms/im instead of it counting as sms messages, and that it doesn't have built in gps/wifi ( though bluetooth gps units are great and wi-fi sd cards are okay, it's still a hassle). if those issues arent' a problem for you, I'd say that a 700wx from ebay is a great buy these days, which you'll almost certainly be happy with.
In terms of Palm OS... I've only used it a little, and have never used a palm OS treo, so I couldnt' say much abotu the 755p, although most peopel I knwo of who have one seem pretty happy. |
