Hello my name is Andreas and I am a Palm addict

I think it was 1989

when I purchase my first PDA, a Sharp Wizard. I upgraded a few years later to another Wizard before I discovered my first PalmPilot

. I was hooked on Palm. I ventured over to a few Windows CE and Symbian OS devices

but always came back to Palm. I have owned at least 8 Palm/ Handspring devices and I still think it is the best device out there. Since Palm had some discouraging news

including the Foleo flop in the past few years I started to look around at other devices again (Q, Blackjack, Berry). On my travels I found this forum

and arrived at Palm again. I even switched mobile phone companies from AT&T to Sprint to get my Centro (wanted the RED one

). My Centro was supposed to arrive on Saturday

but it will be here tomorrow and I can’t wait.

Oh yah, I love Formula One racing (Formel_Eins is Formula One in German

)

I have to say that I love the use of the smilies.

I know the torture of waiting for the delivery truck...but the wait is ooooh, so worth it! Enjoy yur new "baby!"

Welcome aboard Formel_Eins! Hope you enjoy it here. I wish, when I'd set up the smilies I had done it so it used the same chars as YahooIM rather then indexed numbers.... it would so much easy for to use them then...

welcome to treonauts formel_eins! Glad to have you with us. The wilderness is suspect is the dark ages between pda's and treo smartphones. If I am wrong I am sure steph will set us all straight.
